About Tasia

Thank you so much for visiting my blog! I’m Tasia and  I started this site in August 2014. We have been on quite the financial journey and our financial freedom is so refreshing. When I was pregnant with our first baby I got a call that my position was eliminated while on maternity leave. I was offered a lower paying job with a higher workload for a position I truly disliked. Our finances said we could not afford to have me stay home. We prayed and decided to give it a try. It was not easy.  Yet we did it. I even got a part time job during my second pregnancy to pay off debt. In two years we paid off all our debt except for our mortgage. Just in the last 8 months we were on a spending freeze. A very serious one indeed. Our goal was to live without so we didn’t have to touch our savings account while we paid 2 mortgages and utility bills. I cracked down on meal planning and feeding my family for less.

We got in control of our finances and are really enjoying our best life on a budget.

I hope this site inspires you to live your best life on a budget.

  1. You both are so sweet! Thank you so much for your kind words! I am truly loving getting to know you both!

    1. Hi my name is kody, I’m just getting into couponing. I have a question and couldn’t find a contact for you but wanted to know with tops when they print out the coupons at the self check out are they store or manufacturer coupons. They say manufacturer but online I see that if they come from the store it’s store coupons. Probably a dumb question but I just don’t get it.

      1. HI Kody! NOt a dumb question in the beginning when I was doing this whole couponing thing I took that coupon you are talking about from Tops and tried using it at Walmart. They wouldn’t let me and I had the hardest time understanding why when it said manufacturer coupon. The whole thing that changed it is that big Tops logo on it. It is a store coupon but the manufacturer still provides the funding for it. Same with the BJ’s store coupons. They are BJ’s store coupons but they are manufacturer funded. It’s confusing but the ones that print out at Tops with the Tops logo on can only be used at Tops!

  2. It’s my pleasure to meet you sis Tasia. Thanks for sharing your info and making us feel that we are not alone in our pursuit to use money wisely. 🙂 How I wish I could get to know about the freebies in Bangladesh through your website. 😀
