My girls are too young to read these books but I love them. As a young girl I loved The Boxcar Children, Judy Bloom and more. Faithgirlz is a current new series that your tween daughters are sure to love.

Natalie Grant has partnered with Faithgirlz in this new series Glimmer Girls. If your tween enjoys mystery books enter  below for a chance to win the 2-book series.

What’s the book about:

Glimmer Girls- London Art Chase:

Twins Mia and Maddie along with their little sister Luli are taking their first trip and full of excitement to London to watch their famous Mom, Gloria Glimmer perform. They get caught up in a situation that involves witnessing a theft that takes them on a wild fun adventure. Will the Glimmer Girls save the day? Will Maddie find what makes her shine?

The Lesson: Importance of being a good friend, telling the truth, faith, trust and a whole lot more.

Quote I loved:

“God wants to hear about all the things that matter to us…we shouldn’t treat Him like a genie in the sky who grants all our wishes.  But praying is just as much for us as it is for God.  When we pray, we are reminded that we can trust Him with everything, no matter how big or small.” ( pg. 20)

Glimmer Girls- A Dolphin Wish

A stay in the city of San Diego seems like it might be just the break the girls need- lovely weather and great sights to see. That is until they hear some animal handlers at Captain Swashbuckler’s Adventure Park talking about the trouble they’ve been having keeping all the animals in their habitats. Mia and her sisters cannot resist a challenge, and they talk Miss Julia and their parents into another visit to the educational amusement park to search for clues as to what or who is helping the animals escape.

The Lesson: Importance of being a good friend, telling the truth, faith, trust and a whole lot more.

Quote I loved:

“Sometimes the right thing to do is very clear. God puts something in our hearts and we know we just have to follow through. Other times, it’s hard to know.” (  pg.161)

Please Note: I received a copy of the books to review from FlyBy Promotions. All opinions expressed are my own. To read my full disclosure go here.

About the Author:

faithgirlz giveaway natalie grant Grant says:  “Glimmer Girls is a fiction series that I have created with my daughters.  The storyline is about three girls who go on tour with their singing mom.  I have no idea where I came up with that plot!  It’s fun for my little girls to help with the content because they actually live that life.  Glimmer is the last name of the family, but it also has a special meaning.  It is a light that is never extinguished.  Sometimes it may glimmer a little bit brighter, sometimes it may glimmer a little bit dimmer, but it never goes out.  I felt like that was such a perfect description for all of us.  We all have a light on the inside and depending on the day, sometimes it’s bright and sometimes it’s dim.  That is the message I wanted girls to get from this book.  You don’t always have to be shining bright, some days are going to be more difficult than others, but Jesus has put a light in you that will never go out.”
